Hockny is a stool design inspired by the work of artists such as Richard Serra, Josef Albers, and Eva Hesse. Drawing from Serra's exploration of mass and curvature, Albers' investigations of geometric relationships, and Hesse's studies of form and materiality, the design translates these influences into a functional object.

Based on simple geometric principles, Hockny explores the relationship between the square and the circle. The stool is conceived as a three-dimensional composition in which these fundamental forms intersect, creating an object that is both sculptural and utilitarian. Through its restrained geometry and material expression, the design seeks a balance between visual simplicity and spatial complexity.
